Honors Degree

Through the University of Delaware Honors Program it is possible to complete the Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree with Honors. Honors Program recruits and develops highly talented undergraduates. Sometimes there are special honors sections of certain required courses offered, but any required course can be taken for 'Honors' credit by arranging with the individual instructor. For undergraduate students, MEEG 600-level courses are considered honors courses in Mechanical Engineering. Visit here for more information. Honors students are encouraged to explore the undergraduate research program. An Honors Degree with Distinction is awarded to students who perform undergraduate research and complete a senior thesis.
